Pledis Entertainment has officially announced that two members of the popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN, Woozi and Hoshi, will commence their mandatory military service in September. The announcement has been met with a wave of emotions from their dedicated fanbase, known as CARATs.
According to the statement released on July 8, 2025, Woozi is set to enlist on September 15, with Hoshi following suit the very next day on September 16. Both members will be serving as active-duty soldiers in the army.
Before their enlistment, Woozi and Hoshi are scheduled to participate in their final official activities. This includes the “HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]” and a video call fan signing event for SEVENTEEN’s 5th studio album.

During their service period, Woozi and Hoshi will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities. However, Pledis Entertainment has assured fans that a variety of pre-recorded content has been prepared to keep the connection with CARATs alive during their absence.
In their official statement, the agency respectfully requested that fans refrain from visiting the enlistment sites in person, as the ceremonies are private events for the recruits and their families. They encouraged fans to share their messages of support and well wishes for the two members through the official fan community platform, Weverse.
Woozi and Hoshi are the next members of SEVENTEEN to enlist, following Jeonghan and Wonwoo who are currently serving. The group will continue their activities with the remaining members while their bandmates fulfill their national duty. The agency has expressed its commitment to providing all necessary support to the artists during this time and asked for continued love and support for their safe and healthy return.
