Park Na-rae Sues Former Manager for Blackmail… “They were like family, I want to meet and talk,” Strongly Denies Power Abuse Allegations

Comedian Park Na-rae has sued her former managers for blackmail after they exposed alleged power abuse.

On the 5th, a representative from Park Na-rae’s management told Ilgan Sports, “The claims made by the staff who worked with her are not true at all, and we filed a complaint against them today.”

However, it was reported that Park Na-rae is willing to meet with her former managers to resolve the conflict. The representative stated, “Park Na-rae wants to resolve the issue in a positive way. Currently, she is resting due to mental shock. However, because these were friends she considered family, she wants to meet and talk with them.”

On the 4th, allegations arose that Park Na-rae had engaged in power abuse against her former managers. Park Na-rae’s former managers alleged workplace harassment, aggravated assault, prescription by proxy, and non-payment of expenses, and announced their intention to file a lawsuit for damages against her. Furthermore, concerned that she might dispose of her assets, they also filed for a provisional seizure of Park Na-rae’s real estate with the Seoul Western District Court on the 3rd.

Meanwhile, Park Na-rae is also facing an issue regarding an unregistered one-person agency. Although Park Na-rae has been active for over a year under ANDPARK Corporation, a company established by her mother, it did not go through the registration process for a popular culture and arts planning business. Despite these allegations, Park Na-rae’s side maintains that she will continue her future activities without disruption. The representative stated, “Park Na-rae has not done anything legally problematic,” and “She will, of course, continue with her scheduled broadcast appearances as planned.”
