NMIXX, a Promise of a Never-Ending Voyage… ‘ZERO : FRONTIER’

[OSEN=Jang Wooyoung] The group NMIXX, who has shown ‘n’ different charms on stage, has now begun a full-scale voyage towards MIXXTOPIA as pioneers on stage, leading NSWERs from all over the world.

NMIXX (Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, Kyujin) held their first-ever world tour, ‘EPISODE 1 : ZERO FRONTIER’, for two days on the 29th and 30th at the Incheon Inspire Arena.

‘EPISODE 1 : ZERO FRONTIER’ is a concert that signifies the first journey of NMIXX and NSWER, a new beginning of pioneering an unknown world, and it condenses their musical story so far on the path to ‘MIXXTOPIA,’ the final destination and a new starting point of their adventure.

On this day, NMIXX kicked off their first solo concert with their debut song ‘O.O’, followed by performances of ‘Love Me Like This’, the group’s first song to enter the Top 10 on the Melon Top 100 chart; ‘High Horse’, which ranked second on Billboard’s ’25 Best K-Pop Songs of the First Half of 2025′; and their new song ‘Blue Valentine’, which topped the Melon Top 100, daily, and weekly charts for the first time since their debut.

Furthermore, they performed about 27 NMIXX songs with a live band, including widely loved title tracks like ‘See that? (별별별)’, ‘DASH’, and ‘KNOW ABOUT ME’, and B-side tracks that capture the group’s distinct character, such as ‘Run for Roses’ and ‘Soñar (Breaker)’.

Stages for songs like ‘Shape of Love’, ‘Red light sign, but we go’, ‘Slingshot’, ‘Reality Hurts’, and ‘ADORE U’ were revealed for the first time through this debut world tour, and through these diverse stages, NMIXX revealed the true value of their signature genre, ‘MIXX POP’.

This setlist represented a narrative of moving beyond the ‘limits of reality’ (ZERO) to a ‘new world’ (FRONTIER), rather than just a simple list of songs. NMIXX woke up from a chaotic reality (‘O.O’), were reborn like a ‘Phoenix’ to start their adventure, then broke the ‘Break The Wall’, pioneered a path with their own ‘PAXXWORD’, flew up like a ‘Papillon’, gained momentum (‘Slingshot’), and threw the ‘DICE’ of fate. From the promise to keep ‘Moving On’ without stopping to the encore expressing their love for fans, they presented a perfect narrative. In particular, the fact that this concert is ‘EPISODE 1’ signified that NMIXX’s voyage is not over but has just begun.

If they had only shown a narrative, it would have just been a story, but NMIXX proved they are a ‘master singer group’, an ‘all-rounder girl group’, and an ‘all-ace group’ by performing a total of 27 songs, including 4 encore songs, with a live band. The identity of NMIXX, ‘MIXX POP’, where genres change drastically within one song, met the live band, maximizing the dynamic atmosphere at the moment of genre transition with a live band instead of MR. Even during intense choreography, NMIXX proved their solid vocal volume and singing ability by piercing through the much stronger and grander band sound, and they demonstrated they are a talented group by freely using ad-libs during the intense choreography.

After finishing their first world tour concert, Lily said, ‘It’s been almost 4 years since our debut, and I can’t express how much strength we’ve gained from the endless support of NSWERs. It might not be realistic, but I hope you will stay by our side forever.’ Haewon added, ‘We will strive to become artists you are not ashamed of and want to boast about wherever you go. Please watch over us, whether from near or far.’

Sullyoon said, ‘I wanted to show a better performance, but I’m sad I seem to have made many mistakes. Still, I hope you enjoyed it.’ BAE, with teary eyes, stated, ‘The love exchanged between fans and artists seems to be a love that is hard to express with words. So, I am truly grateful. I will cherish this precious love.’

Jiwoo shared her thoughts, saying, ‘Thank you for making it possible for us to hold our first concert on such a big stage. Seeing the happy faces of NSWERs makes me so happy. I will continue to work hard to bring bright smiles and happiness.’ Kyujin added, ‘This concert was my goal and dream, something that only existed in my imagination, so thank you for making it a reality. It feels like it proves the path we’ve run on and all the efforts we’ve made so far. We will have a long run so we can always give you happy energy and show you our best sides, so I hope you will be with us.’

Through ‘ZERO FRONTIER’, NMIXX proved that their music is not just a genre experiment called ‘MIXX POP’, but an art form with solid storytelling. With their great voyage having just set sail, the next frontier they will pioneer is already eagerly awaited.
