KiiiKiii Member’s “Udon Noodles in Her Head” Remark Sparks Controversy.. “Degrading” vs. “Joking” Debate

Rookie girl group KiiiKiii’s Ha-eum has come under fire for a misspoken remark towards a member.

Recently, KiiiKiii was communicating with fans through a live broadcast. During the broadcast, member Sui showed cup ramen udon and said, “This is the udon we used to eat all the time when we were trainees. I’m eating it after a long time.”

Jiyu explained, “That’s right. I made it for Sui.” At this moment, Ha-eum suddenly asked, “Tiki (fandom name), do you know what’s in Sui’s head?” and then said, “There are udon noodles in there,” surprising the members.

After a moment of silence, Ha-eum pointed to Sui’s head and said again, “Here, here.” Sui said, “Huh? This is a little… I think I need to be scolded,” indirectly pointing it out.

Then, Jiyu tried to steer the conversation by saying, “No, no, there are udon noodles in Sui’s stomach right now.” Sui grumbled, “She’s being too much. What are you doing right now?”

However, Ha-eum insisted, “No, no. Because Sui is an idiot.” Sui retorted, “I think I need to be scolded.” Jiyu then tried to smooth things over by saying, “Originally, when you call someone an idiot, it means they are a treasure of the sea.”

In particular, the fact that Ha-eum added the explanation “Because Sui is an idiot” after mentioning ‘udon noodles’ once makes it difficult to deny that she was aware of the implied meaning of the expression, causing further disappointment.
