IVE Wins Triple Crown at ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’… Sang for Comfort

IVE

‘MZ Wannabe Icon’ IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) has captured hearts with a song that delivers comfort and empathy.

At the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ held at the Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium on the 28th, IVE won the ‘FAVORITE GLOBAL PERFORMER’ award and the ‘FAVORITE FEMALE GROUP’ award, followed by the ‘GLOBAL TREND SONG’ category for ‘REBEL HEART’, achieving a triple crown.

Starting with their 3rd mini album’s pre-release track ‘REBEL HEART’ this year, followed by the title track ‘ATTITUDE’ and the 4th mini album’s title track ‘XOXZ’, the group delivered messages of comfort, empathy, solidarity, and ‘self-confidence’ through their diverse music, adding more significance to their triple crown win at the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’.

Through their agency, STARSHIP Entertainment, IVE shared, “We were grateful to receive so much love from DIVE (official fan club name) and the public through our various activities this year, and it’s even more meaningful to receive an award for ‘REBEL HEART,’ which holds the meaning of empathy and solidarity. As the years go by, we find ourselves thinking more about what messages and positive influence we can convey through our music. We hope that IVE’s music and performances will continue to be a source of strength and warm comfort for someone. We will always be a team that does its best to deliver such music.”

‘REBEL HEART’, which won ‘GLOBAL TREND SONG’, achieved a ‘Perfect All-Kill (PAK)’ on major domestic music charts immediately after its release last January, heralding the unceasing ‘IVE Syndrome’. Subsequently, with the added success of ‘ATTITUDE’ and ‘XOXZ’, IVE has lifted a total of twenty music show trophies this year alone: 11 for ‘REBEL HEART’, 4 for ‘ATTITUDE’, and 5 for ‘XOXZ’. Furthermore, from their 2nd single ‘LOVE DIVE’ to their 4th mini album ‘IVE SECRET’, they have sold over 1 million copies for seven consecutive albums, setting a grand record as ‘seven-time consecutive million-sellers’.

IVE’s presence was also prominent on the global stage. After making their mark with a spectacular performance and solid live vocals at ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ last year, they performed at ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ and ‘Lollapalooza Paris’ this year, becoming the first K-pop girl group to take the ‘Lollapalooza’ stage for two consecutive years. They also participated in ‘ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025’, one of Japan’s four major rock festivals, solidifying their position as ‘K-Perfor (Festival Performance)’ artists on the world stage.

Meanwhile, IVE successfully concluded their ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’ world tour concert in Seoul, held for three days from October 31st to November 2nd at the KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena). After their year-end performances, they are scheduled to continue the world tour in 2026 across various countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
