BTS V Wins 9 December Birthday Polls, Setting a Record for Most ‘Podoal’ Votes

V has showcased his powerful fandom by ranking first in polls conducted by nine domestic and international global K-pop fandom platforms, among idols whose birthdays fall in December.

V secured first place in the poll conducted by the global fandom community platform PODOAL from October 23 to November 6 for two weeks, receiving a total of 3,079,637,425 votes. In this poll, among 147 artists with December birthdays, 58.8% of global fans and 41.2% of domestic fans voted for V.

He also took first place in the birthday poll conducted by the K-pop idol ranking app ‘idoki’, receiving 1,324,000 votes. As a reward, a birthday congratulatory advertisement will be displayed on a CM board in a Seoul subway station. He also demonstrated his fandom’s solidarity by winning first place in the birthday poll by the global K-pop fandom platform HIGHER. V also came in first place in the birthday polls conducted by FanCast, global fandom platform Upick, and My One Pick. Upick offers the reward of broadcasting birthday congratulatory videos on digital signage in Hongik University Station and the Airport Railroad, while My One Pick provides a reward of birthday congratulatory video broadcasts on a large building in Gangnam. V’s birthday captures global attention each year not only in scale but also through various creative ideas.
