“Bruno, we won an award!”…Rosé’s ‘APT.’ Wins Grand Prize at [2025 MAMA] Despite Her Absence

BLACKPINK member Rosé received the Grand Prize at the MAMA Awards for ‘APT.’

On the 28th, the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ (hereafter ‘MAMA’) was held at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.

Rosé and Bruno Mars’ ‘APT.’ was selected as the winner of ‘Song of the Year,’ an award given to the song most loved by global K-pop fans throughout the year. This is a result of the song’s enduring popularity, despite being released last October.

Rosé, who did not attend the ceremony, delivered her acceptance speech via video. Rosé stated, “I am so honored to receive the grand award for ‘Song of the Year’ at the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS.’ Thank you to all the fans who have given so much love this year. I’m also grateful to the staff and composers who worked hard to bring this music to life.”

She smiled brightly and said, “Bruno, we won an award. We made a lot of fun memories at ‘MAMA’.” Last year, Rosé and Bruno performed ‘APT.’ together at ‘MAMA’.

Lastly, Rosé said, “I’m so happy to receive this award. I will continue to be the Rosé that brings you great songs and music.”
