On the 28th, analyst Lim Do-young of Daol Investment & Securities predicted that HYBE will record approximately 1.3 to 1.4 trillion won in revenue from BTS’s world tour next year.
Previously, Heungkuk Securities anticipated 3.9 million attendees for a total of 65 shows and revenue of $600 million (approx. 850 billion won), while LS Securities projected 3.08 million attendees for 60 shows, forecasting that HYBE’s concert business revenue would surge by 62.6% compared to this year, reaching 1.2728 trillion won. Securities firms are competitively raising their profit forecasts by releasing a flood of analysis reports.
Daol Investment & Securities cited the outlook for rising ticket prices and expectations for expanded MD (merchandise) sales as its basis. Analyst Lim Do-young analyzed that the average ticket price in North America will rise to around $220 (approx. 320,000 won), with ticket price increases also expected in Asia. Accordingly, he projected that as the global average ticket price climbs to about 270,000 won, ticket sales alone will reach approximately 900 billion won.
In particular, as this is the first tour in about four years, growth in MD sales centered around a renewal of the ARMY Bomb (official light stick) is also anticipated. Analyst Lim assessed, ‘Given the characteristics of the BTS fandom, which has higher purchasing power than other IPs, it is highly likely that the effect of expanded MD sales will be more pronounced.’
Analyst Park Seong-ho of LS Securities also analyzed in an October report, ‘With BTS’s comeback scheduled, their performance rebound is expected to be the strongest in the entertainment sector,’ and ‘The number of shows for BTS’s world tour is expected to be 60, with the number of attendees surpassing 3.08 million.’
According to foreign media reports, more than 30 shows are scheduled in North America, with a total of over 37 shows expected when combining North America and Europe. Analyst Lim Do-young predicted that BTS will release an album next March and begin their world tour at the end of April. The tour schedule is expected to be announced in January.

For reference, from 2021 to 2022 alone, BTS earned about $18 million (approx. 25.8 billion won) from 12 shows in four cities. As this is their first tour as a full seven-member group in over four years since their Las Vegas concert in April 2022, the single 2026 tour is expected to generate profits far exceeding the past seven years combined.
Fans are not only reacting to the flood of forecasts but are also unable to hide their excitement about the phrase in the report, ‘The tour plan will be released in January.’ One fan excitedly said, ‘Maybe the BTS tour schedule will be out in January? BTS is coming!’ Another fan reacted, ‘It’s crazy that the industry expects them to earn nearly a billion dollars from one tour. The pent-up demand after their enlistment will be on a level we’ve never seen before.’
When previous securities reports came out, fans strengthened their resolve, saying, ‘That audience member has to be me,’ but at the same time, they worried about the extreme difficulty of ticketing, saying, ‘Forget about tickets.’ One fan expressed their wish for an official announcement soon, saying, ‘I’m so antsy, I’m getting tired of these articles. This is the 79th article in the last six months… Just release it now!’
The members are reported to be working on a new album in Los Angeles after all completing their military service by June 2025.
