20,000 Fans Cheer at WOODZ’s Solo Concert Over Two Days… Performs ‘Drowning’ and More

WOODZ's solo concert

Singer WOODZ successfully held his solo concert, ‘2025 WOODZ PREVIEW CONCERT : index_00’, at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on the 29th and 30th.

According to his agency, EDAM Entertainment, this concert drew much attention as it was his first solo concert in about a year and 10 months and his first since his military discharge.

He enlisted for active duty last January, served in the Korea Military Academy’s military band, and was discharged this July.

Last October, a video of him passionately singing ‘Drowning’ in his military uniform on the KBS music variety show ‘Immortal Songs’ went viral, and this May, about two years after its release, ‘Drowning’ experienced a chart resurgence, topping the music charts.

At this concert, WOODZ took to a stage set up in a 360-degree configuration to meet a total of 20,000 audience members over two days. Tickets for both days were sold out.

This concert was held with a ‘preview’ concept, offering a glimpse into the various activities WOODZ will undertake. The title ‘index_00’ signifies his intention to make next year the ‘true beginning of Act 1’ and to showcase full-fledged activities.

WOODZ presented performances crossing various genres like dance, ballad, and rock, including his hit song ‘Drowning,’ as well as ‘I hate you,’ ‘I’ll Never Love Again,’ and ‘Smashing Concrete’.

Befitting the ‘preview concert’ concept, he also performed unreleased songs, receiving applause from the audience.
